A unique festival setting
Kelburn Garden Party is an annual music and arts festival held within the grounds and glen surrounding Kelburn Castle, near Fairlie and just south of Largs.
The festival combines live music and DJs with art, performance, workshops and outdoor experiences in one of the most distinctive festival settings on Scotland’s west coast.
Kelburn is particularly well known for its diverse music programme, with performances ranging across electronic music, jazz, folk, funk, hip-hop, global music and many other genres.
More than a music festival
The natural landscape is an important part of the Kelburn experience.
Festival-goers can discover stages and performances set amongst woodland and glens, alongside creative installations, family activities and other entertainment.
The famous painted Kelburn Castle provides an instantly recognisable backdrop.
Staying in the Largs area
Kelburn Estate lies close to Fairlie and Largs, making the wider area a useful base for visitors attending the festival.
Those extending their stay can also explore Largs, the Firth of Clyde and Great Cumbrae, reached by ferry from Largs.
Kelburn Garden Party adds a colourful mix of music, arts and creativity to the area’s summer events calendar.
